Food City School Bucks Program Begins September 27,
2009!
For the past several years, our school has participated in the Food City “Apples for the Students” program. This year, Food City administrators have decided to change the program. However, we will continue to participate. The program is simple..just shop, scan and save to support Hancock County Elementary School.
The program dates are Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009 - Saturday, May 1, 2010. For every $10.00 in Food City Exclusive Brand purchases in a single shopping trip, using your Food City ValuCard, our school will receive 1 point toward our School Bucks reward. Bucks add up to money for the school, not gifts. How the money is used will be determined at a later date. Participating brands include Food City, Food Club, Full Circle, Paws, ValuTime, Top Care, Academix, Domestix, Electrix, EasyClix, World Classics, and Dining-In products, as well as Kay’s Ice Cream, Terry’s Snacks, Lay’s Meats, Farmbest Milk and Kern’s Bread & Cake products.
Beginning Sunday, the 27th of September, you can start helping our school earn School Bucks by entering our school number, 40472, or scanning the attached barcode before your purchase. From that time on, each Food City purchase will go toward our school when your ValuCard is scanned. If you do not have a ValuCard and would like to obtain one, you can visit www.foodcity.com and click the “ValuCard” link. Print this out and take the barcode below to any Food City Store and have it scanned with your ValuCard. You only have to do this once. From that time on, each time your ValuCard is scanned, points are added to our account. Shortly after the deadline, May 1, 2010, our total will be posted on this website!
